The Suffolk Review
The Suffolk Review is the main publication of the Suffolk Local History Council and is produced each Spring and Autumn. Every issue typically contains between three and five essays on a great variety of local historical subjects.
Articles are welcomed both from members and non-members. Whilst the Suffolk review is not an academic journal we do take pride in maintaining the highest quality, with the intention that the articles should contribute to a growing body of knowledge about Suffolk History. If you are interested in submitting an article for consideration, then please contact the Honorary Suffolk Review Editor:
An index to the titles of all the essays published in the Review, now over 350 articles, is available in the link from this page.
Newsletter
Published since 1969, the Newsletter contains useful information for local historians working in Suffolk and appears twice each year. The Newsletter features reports on recent and forthcoming SLHC events, book reviews, information on our society members and Recorders, as well as news about the local history community within Suffolk.
Material for inclusion in the Newsletter should reach the editor at least one month before the publication date. You may contact the Honorary Newsletter Editor by email: newsletter@slhc.org.uk
